About me

Ella Shklarek

I am a psychotherapist in training under supervision* specializing in existential analysis and logotherapy.

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Psychotherapy Science and an MSc in Clinical Psychology. As a psychotherapist in private practice, I worked for several years at the University Psychotherapy Outpatient Clinic. Since 2024, I have been working in private practice, supporting people on their journey to embracing life.

In addition to my work in my practice, I am involved in healthcare, particularly with rescue services, focusing on mental health in the workplace. Since 2026, I have led the peer support system at Johanniter Accident Assistance in Vienna.

I deepened my knowledge through several internships in different clinical settings. These experiences introduced me to both the psychological and physical dimensions of human experience.

Regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion, or sexual identity, it is very important to me to offer everyone in my practice a neutral and safe space.

*In training under supervision

As a psychotherapist in training under supervision, I am in the final phase of a multi-year, state-regulated training program to become a psychotherapist.

In this phase, I work independently with patients based on sound theoretical and practical qualifications.

A key component of this training phase is regular supervision. In this process, my therapeutic work is anonymously reflected upon and professionally supported by experienced psychotherapists with many years of practice.

This serves to ensure quality, continuous development, and the careful design of therapeutic processes. Naturally, supervision is also subject to legal confidentiality.
